Public Speaking
I believe in the power of telling our stories.
In a world that often feels disconnected, I believe that true revolution lies in connection with others and sharing our lived experiences.
Thousands of people across the world have listened to my teachings, and I'd love to share my message even further.
I know this is just the beginning of The Art of the Graceful Revolution.
When Dr. Melissa Bird was 6 years old, her father committed suicide. This led Melissa to believe that if she would have been better behaved, would have been quieter, and would have taken better care of her 3-year-old sister that her father wouldn’t have died. Her self-silencing, inability to grieve on her own terms and fear of abandonment created a lifetime of wounding that has led to the teachings of The Art of the Graceful Revolution.
When Dr. Bird speaks she teaches and inspires audiences how to turn a lifetime of perfectionist shame and grief into an inspirational revolution that leaves audiences feeling seen, heard, and transformed.
The Art of the Graceful Revolution is a transformational talk that helps audience members:
-
Learn how to navigate the unknown and become more comfortable living in the grays of life
-
Identify how their own suffering and fears can lead to perfectionism
-
Learn how looking externally for answers can lead to shutting down their own internal compass and intuition
The Art of the Graceful Revolution helps audience members identify the roots of perfectionism and how it impacts their daily lives, how grief and loss can lead to our greatest transformations, and how change begins by returning to our natural state of being through healing and taking inspired action.
